Imagine America Foundation

Student of the Week from

Universal Technical Institute in

Lisle, IL

The Imagine America Foundation is fortunate to annually support thousands of exceptional Career College students through Scholarships for Education. Some students, though, stand out above the rest.

The Imagine America Foundation is pleased to announce our Student of the Week is Alexander Pelishek, from Universal Technical Institute in Lisle, IL. Alexander was chosen for his exceptional grades, attendance, and work ethic. Alexander has been awarded the Imagine America Foundation's High School Scholarship and Promise Award.

Alexander was recommended to us by Universal Technical Institute's Diesel Engines instructor Matt Jordal. Here is what Matt said about Alexander: "From what I observed in class, I believe Alexander to be a very talented student who will become an extremely effective and professional automotive technician after graduation. Furthermore, he had excellent attendance, an inquisitive mind, and demonstrated a first-rate work ethic in class. It is a pleasure to have had a student like him in my class."

When asking Alexander about his college experience, he told us:
"From the first time I was exposed to the campus of UTI located in Lisle, Illinois, I knew it was for me. The new facility and the elaborate labs got my blood pumping with the anticipation of fulfilling my career destination in the diesel industry. The more I researched the college, I began to see the value and the decision became clearer. The opportunities that would become available to me upon completion of the program got me excited to attend this very reputable institution in Lisle, IL. I feel that upon graduation, my degree earned as a diesel technician from the Universal Technical Institute, will potentially put me in a position to receive the career that I have been striving to achieve."

Congratulations Alexander!
