The Imagine America Foundation is fortunate to annually support thousands of exceptional Career College students through Scholarships for Education. Some students, though, stand out above the rest.
 
The Imagine America Foundation is pleased to announce our Student of the Week, Graciela Gutierrez from San Joaquin Valley College in Ontario, CA. Graciela was chosen for her exceptional grades, attendance, and work ethic. Graciela has been awarded the Imagine America Foundation's High School Scholarship and Promise Award. 
 
Graciela was recommended to us by her Instructor, Karen Kennedy. Here is what Karen had to say about Graciela:  "Graciela Gutierrez has the ability to learn quickly and has a strong desire to learn. She has an ability to apply her medical administrative skills accurately and effectively. It is a privilege to have her in class."
 
When asking Graciela about her college experience, she told us:

"I am very proud to say that I am a student at San Joaquin Valley College. It’s such a great school to attend because they provide me with everything I need to learn and they have committed instructors that are very helpful. The instructors at San Joaquin Valley College are just awesome! They make me enjoy learning and I know they will get out of their way to just help me with any problem I am facing. Another significant reason why I chose San Joaquin Valley College is because I will receive my associated degree in just fourteen months. I know that by attending at San Joaquin Valley College I won’t be wasting my time and effort in classes that I won’t be needing like attending a community college would be. What I enjoy the most about this school is their hands on training. I am the type of person that is a visual learner and it helps to do some hands on in class because it makes me feel prepared and confident that I will be doing excellent work once I am working for my field of study. In all, I am very delighted to have enrolled myself into San Joaquin Valley College."
