Business & Arts Week in Review brought to you by: Becker Media
Occupational Overview: Business & Arts
Sometimes broadly defined as “the creative field,” the Arts is not just a career path for aspiring painters, poets or musicians. Today, there are roles for graphic artists, designers, illustrators, sound engineers, music editors, video game developers, audio/visual professionals, writers, and others whose jobs involve tapping into their creative sides. But these individuals must also have a strong knowledge of their profession and the technical skills to realize their visions.

Many career schools offer – or are considering – programs that involve their students’ creative talents. Career College Central follows the developments in the arts field every month so your school knows about the latest techniques and advancements in this field.

As Americans continue to immerse themselves in entertainment, the arts are going to play a larger role in our labor force moving forward, as are career colleges. Continue to watch Career College Central for more news, research and commentary on the Arts.

Keen insight, a strategic mindset, teamwork, attention to detail, a strong work ethic — companies are looking for these skills, skills that are born from military experience.
