Imagine America Foundation

Student of the Week

from West Virginia Junior

College in Bridgeport, WV

The Imagine America Foundation is fortunate to annually support thousands of exceptional Career College students through Scholarships for Education. Some students, though, stand out above the rest.

The Imagine America Foundation is pleased to announce our Student of the Week is Haley Mulholland, from West Virginia Junior College in Bridgeport, WV. Haley was chosen for her exceptional grades, attendance, and work ethic. Haley has been awarded the Imagine America Foundation's High School Scholarship and Promise Award.

Haley was recommended to us by her Academic Dean- Jenica Frye. Here is what Jenica said about Haley: "Haley exhibits excellent academic skills and commitment to her studies through her hard work and great determination to succeed. She has demonstrated this by working through difficult classes and completing course work in the top of her class. I am very proud to write this letter of recommendation for Haley Mulholland"

When asking Haley about her college experience, she told us:
"Since I could remember I’ve always wanted to attend college and become a Medical Assistant, and now my future is finally coming together. I chose West Virginia Junior College because it was a fast pace program and in the matter of eighteen months, I will graduate with an Associate’s Degree. With that Associates Degree I could start my career as a Medical Assistant. At the end of my eighteen months I plan to work in a hospital where I can use my skills and ethics that I have learned throughout my time as a student. As I said in my introduction, since I could remember I’ve always wanted to be in the healthcare field, and now I’m another step closer to fulfilling my dream. They offer tutoring, and always give you a heads up on upcoming scholarships. The best decision was attending WVJC and studying to be a Medical Assistant.I can't wait to see what the rest of my time as a Medical Assistant has in store for me, and what my future holds."

Congratulations Haley!
