Imagine America Foundation

Student of the Week

from IntelliTec College

in Grand Junction, CO

The Imagine America Foundation is fortunate to annually support thousands of exceptional Career College students through Scholarships for Education. Some students, though, stand out above the rest.

The Imagine America Foundation is pleased to announce our Student of the Week is Jamie Satterfield from IntelliTec College in Grand Junction, CO. Jamie was chosen for her exceptional grades, attendance, and work ethic. Jamie has been awarded the Imagine America Foundation's Adult Skills Education Program scholarship and the Adult Excellence Award.

Jamie was nominated for the Adult Excellence Award and recommended by her instructor and program supervisor of business office administration and accounting, Todd McDaniel. "Based on Jamie's grades, attendance, and class participation, I would rate Jamie's academic performance in my classes as superior. I highly recommend Jamie for this award."

When asking Jamie about her college experience, she told us:
"I chose to attend IntelliTec because after extensive research, I really liked that the programs in this environment. I really enjoy that the program is hands on and fast-paced but gets me ready for the field that I am studying for. I chose the Business Management and Accounting field because my long-term goal is to own my own business, I would like to be able to do my own books and manage it myself with little help. This school is very helpful in every way preparing me to obtain the job that I want in the field that I have studied for. I really like that all the teachers have had extensive studying in the classes they are teaching. The hands on experiences will help as well. I have made it my goal to purse my degree and maintain my 4.0 GPA in all of my classes."

Congratulations Jamie!
